GRIFFITH TALKS TO GUIDE PALLIATIVE CARE POLICY

Member for Murray Adrian Piccoli said the future for palliative care services in this region will be discussed at a roundtable today in Griffith to help the NSW Government better tailor end-of-life care in regional areas.

Mr Piccoli and Parliamentary Secretary for Regional and Rural Health Leslie Williams will host talks with health professionals and the community at the Southside Leagues Club commencing from 11.00 am.

ORGANISATIONS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES FUNDING

Member for Murray Adrian Piccoli has called on organisations to apply for a share in the $1.1 million Youth Opportunities funding available to support local youth.

One-off grants of up to $50,000 are available for projects that engage young people to lead and participate in community development activities. 

Mr Piccoli has encouraged the local council and all local organisations with a youth focused project to apply.

Expressions of interest open for Nimmie-Caira

Member for Murray Adrian Piccoli has welcomed the commencement of an open tender and expression of interest period for the southern NSW Nimmie-Caira property, representing a significant milestone in the project and unique opportunity in securing the long-term prosperity of the site.

Mr Piccoli said the NSW Government has commenced the open tender expression of interest process for the 85,000 hectare natural resource of Nimmie-Caira, situated in the State’s Riverina.
