PICCOLI CALLS FOR LOCAL VISUAL ARTISTS TO APPLY FOR NSW GOVERNMENT FELLOWSHIP

Member for Murray Adrian Piccoli has encouraged local visual artists embarking on their careers to apply for a $30,000 NSW Government Visual Arts Fellowship.

“The NSW Liberals & Nationals Government is providing this funding as part of its commitment to supporting the professional development of artists in our State,” Mr Piccoli said.

HERITAGE GRANTS AVAILABLE

Member for Murrumbidgee Adrian Piccoli has advised that the NSW Government is calling for applications to the NSW Heritage Grants program, which is making $6.5 million available for heritage and conservation over the next two years.

Mr Piccoli said the grants will help local communities preserve tangible reminders of our past and conserve them for future generations.

“The funding will enable local communities throughout NSW to protect and preserve our rich cultural and architectural heritage,” Mr Piccoli said.

GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL FOOTY CLUBS

Member for Murrumbidgee Adrian Piccoli has advised that the NSW Footy Facilities Fund is now open for applications. The program is a joint initiative of the National Rugby League and the NSW Government, and offers funding for projects throughout NSW.

“This program is an important initiative that will help fund grassroots footy clubs in the Murrumbidgee Electorate and throughout NSW,” Mr Piccoli said.

GOVERNMENT FUNDING AVAILABLE TO SUPPORT EVENTS IN MURRUMBIDGEE

Member for Murrumbidgee Adrian Piccoli has advised that the State Government’s Sport and Recreation Events Program (SREP) will be open for applications from 5 November 2014 to 30 January 2015.

“The government is committed to helping athletes, officials and coaches develop their skills through participation in sport,” said Mr Piccoli.

“Programs like SREP are immensely important in bringing bigger and better sporting events to Regional and Rural areas in NSW.

NEW MULTICULTURAL GRANTS FOR A NEW ERA

Member for Murrumbidgee Adrian Piccoli said the NSW Government has announced details of the new $1.6 million Multicultural NSW Grants Program, with funding available for initiatives which promote cultural harmony and social cohesion.  

Mr Piccoli encouraged organisations in the Murrumbidgee electorate to apply for funding under the new program which is comprised of Unity, Celebration, Support and Partnership Grants.
